“You don't know how much I wish I could have met you sooner.”
Mike James, Marine Recon, Iraq and Afghanistan War Veteran
“...I smiled, I laughed, and cried. I hated everytime something came up that made me put it down...”
Nikki Swanson, Elementary School Teacher, Wife, Mother of Five
“I think the spirit is instructing and guiding all the way. You're doing a fabulous job of giving birth to something that will help change the paradigm for many.”
Jody Peterson Lodge, Exceptional Properties, Coldwell Banker Burnet
“Christine, I truly believe as you have stated numerous times, this book just flowed from your heart and soul and that is what makes it so amazing. Writing is not your trained profession but it goes to show that when you believe and love a topic or personal figure as much as you love Perpetua, magically things happen. Congratulations on telling an amazing story about an inspiring woman that you so deeply feel connected to.”
Deborah Mannick, Director of Medical Records, wife, mother and sister

Unexpected Author, Unexpected Journey

Christine Renae Perpetua Charles
Author, Inspirational Speaker

Author Christine Renae Perpetua Charles continues to embrace life and her true voice. Life is often a journey of hopes and promises that seem uncompleted and unfulfilled; an unknown journey we often struggle to comprehend. Silence often enhances anxiety, misery and more, and provocative pronouncements can contribute to the same. Thankfully for me, life remains a journey I have always felt safe and secure experiencing. I continue to give thanks for the constant spiritual presence that is there, “To Watch Over Me,” Christine shares.

Enjoy the first pages from Perpetua who recounts her journey from beloved daughter, wife, and new mother until her house arrest and martyrdom. Over eighteen centuries ago, with her infant son at the breast and in her own hand, she authored the oldest known Latin writings by a Christian woman. Perpetua has written once again.

Enjoy the reflections from an author, who struggled to embrace life and her true voice. Difficult moments we endure in silence can often smother God’s love and grace within us. Silence often enhances anxiety, misery and more, and provocative pronouncements can contribute to the same. Reasoned responses, expressed quietly loud, are often the most elusive.

Enjoy the first pages of a new young family deciding which collectibles to buy. Dickens’ Village was our first choice, a choice that made our small children cry. For them Christmas was mostly about Santa, his reindeer and all the elves. Not an old English village to be displayed on our living room shelves.

The Coronavirus has delayed research for my father’s biography and his twenty year hockey career throughout Canada and the United States during the Golden Years of Senior Hockey. Enjoy a couple pages as a star athelete  weighs his options when… “Times were a changing.”

A number of readers and fans of Christine have mentioned their disappointment that her own faith journey ended with Nikki, the last chapter.  Surprise, surprise, Christine is planning to return; and she intends to bring along many old friends and is introducing a number of new ones in Abigail’s, A Little Piece of Heaven. Hello Olivia!
